Here are some of our Frequently Asked Question from customers before they come to our store!

Where are you located?

In Seymour (1239 E 4th Street Rd)– we are at the corner of Burkhart Blvd and 4th Street.

From Interstate 65 – head west on Hwy 50/Tipton St. Turn right onto Burkhart Blvd (Rally’s is on the corner). Turn Left onto 4th Street. We are the first building on the right. The same building as Indiana Podiatry Group/Dr. Warren’s Office.

In Columbus (1910 Parkside Dr) – we are at the corner of Parkside Drive and Central Ave.

Heading towards IUPUC/Ivy Tech, we are at the corner with the pedestrian crosswalk. We are located in the same building as Indiana Podiatry Group/Dr. Brandon Gumbiner’s Office.

Do I need to see the doctor first?

No, you do not. If you would like to see the doctor prior to coming to The Fitted Foot/Professional Footwear, call Indiana Podiatry Group at (844)830-3338.

Do I need an appointment?

Though we accept most all walk-in’s, sometimes an appointment is necessary. You will need to set up an appointment if: you are diabetic and are wanting to submit a claim to your insurance for your shoes/inserts; Or if you wish to have a consultation with our Certified Pedorthist. If you are still unsure, give us a call and we can discuss your options over the phone.

If it is my first time, how long should I expect to be in the store?

The evaluation process takes about 15 minutes, then depending on what type of footwear you are looking for. Most people should plan on being in the store for about an hour. The good news is once you have been in, we keep your information on file so your future visits won’t take as long.
